Just inspire others simple story and meet the founders

Our founder, Alex Melo Crane, a national gold medalist photographer, often volunteered her time to capture nonprofit events. But time after time, she noticed something heartbreaking while CEOs were earning six-figure salaries, the people who truly needed help were still struggling. She turned to her younger sister, Laura, and her wife, Jennifer, and said, "We all have the same kind of heart—the kind that gives without hesitation. You both, like me, are always ready to help anyone, no matter their age or background. And let’s not forget our beloved four-legged friends who can’t speak for themselves. It’s time we create something meaningful. Let’s do this."

Our vision is simple: in life’s hardest moments, people shouldn’t have to be put on display just to get help. They shouldn’t need to stand on a stage or have a camera in their face to raise funds. Instead, we want to inspire hope—letting people know that even in their darkest times, there’s someone ready to offer a hand and light the way. This is why we created the Just Inspire Others Foundation—to be a source of comfort and support for those who need it most.

Our co-director, Halleh Farhangi, leads with a heart full of passion, driving our mission forward in the Pinellas and Pasco areas. She shares our deep commitment to making a difference, especially for the LGBTQ and trans communities, standing strong for those who often face closed doors. Halleh’s compassion shines in everything she does, and we are proud to have her as a leader in this journey. 

We also carry the spirit of Karen Melchonie, who sadly passed this year but left an incredible mark on all of us. Karen was a beacon of hope, touching countless lives with her warmth and generosity. Though she’s no longer with us, her legacy will live on, and we will honor her with a special event for veterans—ensuring her light continues to shine.

We give everything we get back to all that need help. Our founders do not take pay.
